10 (TEN) red cards shown, 7 for Boca and 3 for River. Must be some sort of record surely?

Payero didn't feature at all in the game.

What's the cut off point for red cards for 1 team before a game is abandoned?

I thought it was if a team goes down to 6 the game is off? Could be wrong.

It certaimly is in England - as I was comparing to what Warnock did 20 odd years ago as you were posting st same tie as me

We'd still draw 0-0 tomorrow night if Blackpool went down to 6.

Probably miss a penalty (against their left back as both keepers sent off).. get a goal chalked off for offside too no doubt.

Were all those to players though? Could easily have been reds for a few managers/coaches/subs...

Some of the reds were for subs.

I think the ref did abandon the game after them all though.

Probably helped that it was effectively over already.

River Plate and Boca were not playing each other.
Racing beat Boca 2-1 (nice)

That can't be right, he is a regular starter for them and some fans call him the magician, was this cup final seen as a lower tier match they didn't want to risk key players like Payero on?
