Class, I did like Dave Currie mind but he'll sadly be remember more for his Carlisle miss than his Newcastle wonder strike

Canny lad Davie Curry, I always found him OK, seen a lot worse kick a ball for us and Scored some cracking goals as well as the Carlisle Utd miss.
It was like big Gary McDonald, half decent player in a lot of respects but didn't have the greatest around him at times. Curry was far better for us than Peter Davenport thats for sure.

I liked kid Currie, scored some crackers and missed some sitters but was a local lad who always gave his all for us and forged a decent career. Forest was a step too high for him, but Darlo and Barnsley fans loved him.

No he was a contractor at the plant I work, I tried to get his autograph on a couple of my photos & scrapbook but he was hard to pin down

Have played golf with Dave a few times. Canny lad. He is a member at Teesside. Plays off about 15 (before the new handicap change)!
