Daniel Farke sacked

The timing seems a little bit too coincidental. Iā€™d have Farke over Wilder though, and the Kieran Scott link, as well as Warnockā€˜s comments today, youā€™d hope thereā€™s something in it.

Who knows, Farke may have been told weeks ago he was going.
It may not be a coincidence particularly with Norwich now looking for a new manager.

'Rhine on tees' or whatever that phrase was many years ago,
Then again wasn't that about the German nutter with the bald head and big black glasses who took Fulham down....Felix Magath IIRC

My Tess/Rhine comment made no sense - a quick Google shows what I was looking for:)

GIBSON acknowledged the need to bring in an old head next season. ā€œWe must have more experience in and around the dressing room,ā€ he said.

GIBSON could have appointed a German manager at the time of Southgateā€™s appointment. He said: ā€œHe wanted an all German staff. I didnā€™t want us to become Middlesbrough on Rhine.ā€

Gibbo Interview May 2009

Read that Wilder agreed terms with both clubs in advance in event of sacking manager and Boro sacking Warnock has forced Norwich hand as they also want him.

I love Gibbo and what he has done for our Club.
But, despite being rather quiet lately I think its probably for the best that he keeps schtum sometimes.
In that old interview link I just posted:
ā€œOf course we have support in outlying areas, but the majority of Stockton people support Sunderland.ā€
What a howler!!!
Also, perhaps the Middlesbrough/Rhine comment might not now do us any favours?
Though TBF - we dodged a bullet if it was Magath he was talking about at the time.
