EFL Goal Of The Season.

I saw this on the Sunderland forum. Their fans are having a moan, justifiably in my opinion, that most of the selections are screamers, the type of which sometimes go in but often clear the stand. They reckon that Jack Clarke's goal against Reading, from a move that started with their own keeper should be in there. We have also scored a few like that this season but there are no Boro or Sunderland goals in the final selection.

For what it's worth, I think the Norwich goal is the best of the chosen ones. It takes the crowd totally by surprise and there's a pause between the ball hitting the net and the celebration.

Agree with Priv: that Archer goal with assist from Zak - pure class.
No one else involved.

I prefer a good team goal myself and as BBG points out we are guilty of not putting sufficient weight behind them with our Goal of the Season choices. However, I think the Sunderland fans are going a bit over the top about Jack Clarke's goal, and I'm sure we've scored better team goals this season - if only I could recall them.

I watched that Clarke goal live, I thought then that I had just seen the goal of the season and I haven't seen anything yet to change my mind.
