For us to miss out, 3 out 4 teams need to overtake us, not just Preston.

Realistically, Blackburn, Millwall and Preston need to gain 7 points to do it due to GD, and Norwich need to gain 8. With 5 games to go (6 in the case of Blackburn), I can't see it happening.

I don't think Coventry should worry us; even if we don't get another point, they'd have to have good form to overtake us.

I've just looked at Oddschecker: we're 1/66 to make the playoffs, which I'd say is about right.

3 sides overtaking us looks even less likely when you also consider that Blackburn, Millwall and Preston each all play 2 games against both of the other 2 in that trio in their remaining 5 or 6. Dropped points galore!

Oh and Blackburn have a slimy turd of a remaining list of fixtures full stop.
