Spent the day in Funchal on Christmas Eve when our cruise stopped there. What a lovely place we did all the usual tourist stuff like the cable car and toboggan.

Had a week there last year. Fantastic place. Going back this year I think.
We done the cable cars, monte palace gardens, toboggan, sunrise hike to Pico ruivo. I’m into gardening so the plants and wildlife fascinated me. The place is super clean.
Only thing was the food, not eating seafood really limited out choices.

We went last year. Ask the locals “who is this Ronaldo guy” you keep seeing everywhere.
