Mary Quant, the pioneer of the mini skirt and the cause of more men crashing cars than any other fashion item as sadly passed away at the age of 93 - not a bad innings. Quant did a lot for women's fashion but also for us men who hoggled at the young women in mini skirts and hot pants - don't tell me you never.

Mary Quant revolusionised fashion for everyone.

Is running on the background - lots of shots of her puffing on a cig or holding one - and she lived to 93!

I remember the 15 yr old me asking this lass i fancied to dance at a school disco. I was shocked she said no to be honest as she must have seen me as some sort of a fashion icon as whilst earwigging, i overheard her telling her mate that she thought i was a bit of a quant.
