so he was found neither guilty nor not guilty as a verdict was not reached?

innocent until proven guilty, whilst sometimes unpalatable, has to be maintained in all cases.

Jury vote was 11-0 not guilty of six counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
Couldn't reach 10-1 (either way obviously) to make a decision on the remaining one count of rape and one count of attempted rape.

Are you sure it's three and three? I thought it was being reported as one and one.

Such a high profile name - nigh on impossible for him not to be named. Similar to Sigurdson who was not charged with anything if I recall. Must be a bit gutting to have had spent a fair bit of time on remand, but I guess that is the legal system for you.

Isn't there an Arsenal player who hasn't been charged yet but is under investigation and on police bail. This means he hasn't officially been named yet?

Not going to speculate about his name as that would be wrong.

Was just in the middle of typing the same thing. His name is well known but has never been released publicly.
