Non perishable food items and cash donations will be greatly received. All donations go directly to helping local people in need.

The Teesside Boot Room
MSF will again be teaming up with the MFC Foundation and the Michael Carrick Foundation to collect football boots which can then be recycled and given out to communities or donated to charities.

My Boro My Shirt
MSF are be appealing for donations of any unwanted Boro shirts of any size which will then be distributed to others who have not had a chance to own one.

If you have any of these items, please bring them along to the Foodbank collection point.

The football boot collection has been really well supported. Michael Carrick recently spoke about why he started this, from observing kids without proper boots attending his Foundation sessions in inner cities. Working with our own MFC Foundation they find homes for all boots donated at football activities that they operate.

Broadening out the appeal to Boro replica shirts will similarly allow fans to feel part of the Boro community and again especially those attending sessions without a sports shop to wear.

Kids can grow out of their boots in a matter of months or even weeks and so it has been so heartening to see the amount of nearly new kids boots donated. It would be great to get some kids football shirts this time also as it is the same story for kids growing out of their shirts quickly. This is part of MyBoroMyShirt initiative - literally putting Boro shirts on fans backs.
