Wood needs more experience for me so the Crewe move is good for his development if he plays every week.

He should have been sent out on loan to a League one club before the start of the season to be honest, Gibson really benefited from it before he made the step up to the first team.

Hopefully if he does well at Crewe he may be able to push for a starting place here next season.
