I have just heard the sad news that Boro superfan Nigel Gibb has passed after a long illness.
Nigel spent the last 5 years of his life in a dementia care home .Nigel hasnt got any remaining family in the UK but im sure has a lot of friends on this messageboard who will be deeply saddened by this news

That is sad news, i used to work in the same department as Nigel at Stockton Borough Council - Lovely man by all accounts.

Was very sad to learn of Nigel’s passing. Over the years he was a big friend to MSS and came to many of the London drinks and parties over the years. He had a tremendous knowledge of the club and keeper of stats. As Boro fans go there weren’t many held with higer respect than Nigel. RiP.
