OVERNIGHT CLOSURES ANNOUNCED FOR SECTION OF A66
Motorists are being made aware of overnight closures of a section of the A66 for five nights to allow for improvement works to be carried out.
The work will take place on the eastbound carriageway from the Stockton boundary to the A19 exit slip road, behind Macmillan Academy and the Goals football pitches.
It will begin on Monday (April 17) and work will then take place also on Tuesday, April 18, Thursday, April 20, Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22.
Work will not take place on Wednesday, April 19 due to a Middlesbrough Football Club home game against Hull City.
All closures of the section will take place from 9pm to 6am with diversion routes in place.
The closures are due to road resurfacing and restructuring and have been scheduled through the evening in order to minimise disruption.
