One of the best Boro interviews I've ever seen – Jonny Howson

It's 9 minutes long and it's not full of soundbites, but a real slow burner. Worth spending some time with our captain and getting some insights into the life of a footballer and what playing for Boro means to him. So different from the usual football interview. Well done to the interviewer for allowing someone who's clearly not your average player to open up.

He's a great lad is Jonny Howson. A fantastic example to younger players at the club. So pleased he's here for another year as he's still a top player.

His performance in the 1-0 win over Spurs at the Riverside, under Wilder, will live long in the memory. An absolute midfield masterclass and one of the best individual performances I've seen from a Boro player at the Riverside.
