Portsmouth can seal promotion tonight.

Mighty Stags make it to League 1 for the first time in 20 years. Nigel Clough has done a great job there along with a certain Aden Flint!!!

Some big games for them to look forward to especially with Birmingham and Wednesday potentially going down and more importantly they’ve stayed a division above Chesterield!!!!

Potentially got Plymouth, Portsmouth, Southampton, Cardiff, Swansea, Ipswich and Norwich away next season.

Going to be lots of travel miles for our away fans, even if some of Southampton, Ipswich and Norwich go up.

Lincoln City - now possible. Don’t think we have played them in the league?
Huge win last night v Oxford away

Great to see Portsmouth back on the up! Great memories of going there last game of the season back in '04 - despite getting battered 4-0 with the emergence of a "young gentleman" called Yakubu!

Was mixed day yesterday, my old school chum ( and bandmate) died in the morning, stalwart PFC ( after converted from if remember rightly THFC - long story ) and then later the victory last night at The Old Girl, under the lights. Sat staring at the screen watching youtube vids from fans at the game, but not quite able to celebrate. A salutary reminder, life is so short.

Been looking forward to going the 'boro for years and finally getting a proper Parmo - so taking that stark 'reminder" to get this off my bucket list.

PLAY UP POMPEY

Portsmouth, Derby and Bolton potentially three difficult games next season. All good away days though, potentially a last trip to Goodison too. Can you still get the away season tickets?!

Norwich is a an easy trip compared to most of the others on the list.

Is this the Pompey that cheated its way to an F.A.Cup win?
B*locks to them.
Nothing to do with the fact I’ve been there 4 times and never seen us win.

The last time I was there we got stuffed on the last day of the season and Yakubu got a hat trick for them. Funny old place is Pompey I really like it but it can be a bit iffy on match days for away fans if you you don't know where you are going or it did way back, in the 80's and early 90's. Pompey fans will be keeping their fingers crossed that the Saints don't go up now, personally Im wishing for a dream scenario of where we play one of them away midweek and then the other( Pompey or saints) on the following weekend, just like we had with Plymouth and Exeter , I would definitely go for a few days.

Sorry to read that, I hope you are doing okay.
All OK - was just a bit shocked as it was short time between diagnosis and the end ( cancer) -he would of loved to have lived to see the evening.

So proud of the club, the fans saved it after some terrible mistreatment from some very dodgy "geezers' and handed over a club primed for something ( who knows what - that is football ,but hopefully not a chancer - so far the Eisners have been steady as she goes). It has been long 12 years.

If 'boro haven't already done so - fans would be wise to set up something similar to The Pompey Trust in place that can be wheeled into action in the event that they get sold - jus in case.
