Ramsey vs Norwich

Would you start him? Up against the team he played for earlier in the season, if that was us, he'd be nailed on to score.

Some were saying he was crap first half yesterday, and poor against Burnley, but I didn't think he was that bad, scored and then setup the second.

Can't argue with his numbers since joining, 4 goals and 1 assist so far, destined for another on Friday night?

I did think he was holding on to the ball too much in the first half and losing it, I'd have subbed him off for McGree before that diving header.

Goal and an assist and played much better in the second half in general.

Got to start him on the back of that.

Ramsey & Steffen definitely the best players yesterday. McGree was also a threat once he was on. For Friday I would start Ramsey & McGree out wide. If Archer not 100%, play Forss as the striker with Akpom as the number 10

Yes his numbers are good in goal contributions. My concern is that he tris to overdo it too often. Tries to take too many players on when other players are free. He'll be a hell of a player when he works that out mind.

He was crap first half yesterday, but his contribution for 25 mins in teh second half absolutely had them on the rack. We need that player to turn up and if he does we win.

Yes Boromart but he is trying to create an opening - like he did for our opening goal against Huddersfield away. I think he is great and I don't mind him losing the ball every now and again.
He who dares and all that.

Personally I’d like to see him start but then what do you do with McGree? Most of us are in agreement that when McGree is playing well, the team is playing well.

But I don’t like both of them together. We lose Forss’ work rate on the right and we almost need some of that at the moment to help Smith out.

Ramsey is a quality footballer when we have possession, but offers less than McGree out of it. Personally, I think it is a tough call between the two. I would start Forss on the right and McGree left, but we are at home and they may be without 2 first choice centre backs so i would hope we were putting them under far more pressure than they’ll cause us.

All that said, I think Carrick will probs play McGree left and Ramsey right, which is fine providing they don’t start swapping as McGree can not play on the right (for me)

He would be one of the first names in my team.
When he's on it, he is a constant threat, he will be busting a gut to play against the club who cut short his loan spell.
Play him and let him loose... he is a cracking player.

We are quite lucky to have 3 excellent and different players vying for 2 positions. They will all play their part and they have done.

Thought he linked up the play really well second half yesterday. Seemed to prefer going through the middle a lot rather than sticking out left. At times, Chuba and Howson were on the left hand side more than him. Freed up Giles, but his delivery was very off yesterday apart from the one he put on a plate for Chuba.

If Ramsay doesn't start our managment team needs shooting - look at Archer's performance against Preston. Many players love playing againt teams that they feel rejected them.

Yeah there is a bit of needle there between Ramsey and Norwich for way he left with the ‘injury’ and on the back of the second half against Bristol I think he probably has to start.

It’s so tough because I really like Forss, Ramsey and McGree but know one will have be used from the bench.
