RIP Astro

There's a version of UB40 scheduled to play The Globe later this month - not sure which one it is as there's at least two versions currently touring - presumably it will be cancelled if its the line up that had poor Astro in.
 
Gutted.
Saw him with Ali Campbell just before lock-down.
Another legend passes to the great band in the sky.

The band split over Management and Money, with Ali, Astro and Brian Travers leaving the original line up - and forming "UB40 Freaturing Ali and Astro". The voice of Ali cant be replicated and Astro added a real stage presence to their live concerts. Ali must be absolutely gutted. The legend which is UB40 lives on.
