They have been covering it for years but it’s a very difficult conflict to cover as both sides are in fact proxies so it’s very complex situation.

It’s a horrific situation.

I understand your point but compare it with Ukraine.

It’s easy for Britain to be the good guy regarding Ukraine so government are keen to be seen to be involved. Britain is good, Putin is the evil person, so we can tell ourselves a nice story.

Good luck trying to get any political party to criticise selling billions of pounds of weapons to Saudi Arabia though.

Shows the hypocrisy of Britain this conflict. We get involved in other peoples business because “it’s the right thing to do” and then we go and sell Saudi stupid amounts of weapons to brutalise Yemen.
