Wasn’t Michael Ricketts a funny one…

The guy was actually a pretty damn good striker on his day. I will always hold him in high regard for the goal against Tottenham alone. Plus I don’t recall him ever missing a pen? Could be wrong mind.

He was awful for us, I don’t ever recall him being a ‘pretty damn good striker’ after leaving Bolton. I’m pleased he was in the right place at the right time to score against Spurs but I definitely wouldn’t hold him in high regard because of it. From memory I only recall him scoring one other goal for us at Bolton away.
 
In all seriousness to McClaren. It’s a great move for him. Living and working in a great place with some good people. Presumably he is moving there. He would be daft not to.

Looking at their Copa America squad and where the players play their club football, I'm not sure there'd be a necessity to move over there, nor would it make much sense. And yes, I'm pretending to look busy at work...

If I was him I would definitely make the case of being there a few times over the year though!
 
This thread got me thinking of Boro links with Jamaica and I could only think of Delapenha from way before my time, yet apparently Ravel Morrison is Jamaican too. I had no idea.
