Text Commentary for tonight

On holiday overseas, data only connection and wanting to appear vaguely sociable, so no interest in streaming or audio commentary, but can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere decent for text based updates?

I know the BBC main live scores do this, but it tends to be a bit sporadic and dry. So rather than "34' Chance missed Middlesbrough, Watmore from close range" I'd like some idea of exactly how badly he spooned it over after Giles had laid it on a plate...

Don't know of anywhere official that does that, but surely you can't go wrong with @r00fie1 famous match day thread on here.

Although you might have to ask posters for a bit more context on occasions as occasionally you'll just get:

"Watmore FFS!"
"How did he miss that"
"Bloody Gestede could gave finished that!"
"This Stoke commentary team on ifollow are getting right on my t*its!"

Tried that for Sheff U. Trying to convert a Morse code like sequence of "FFS"and "Get in!" to come up with an accurate score was fun...

Gazette will give lots of detail but updates are slow and far between

BBC has generic descriptions. You also have the BBC updates on the whole championship, which cover lots of games but at least describe the goals and major incidents properly.

Sky updates are probaby better than BBC.

None of them are particularly good. You may as well pick BBC or Sky and then refresh on here to see all the moaning about our dodgy defence.
