Looks a bit like Sochi don’t you think ( the race around the stadium concept)

I don't understand F1's new obsession with street circuits. Yet another one with concrete walls and little run off in places.

I wonder if street circuits are cheaper? Might be pretty hard to fund and maintain an out and out racing circuit from scratch if you don't have one already.

I do worry about the cars crashing into the walls - we have already seen this season how big the impacts can be.

Weird that they couldn't find some way to make it around the beach. Seems a shame to have grand prixs in iconic locations and not use the iconic bits.
Most of the beaches are in Miami Beach, which is a separate place on an island east of Miami. It's not very wide and there probably isn't enough space for a circuit and all the infrastructure.

There are racing circuits all over the US already, I can't see any reason to build more, so car park circuits are all there are likely to be now.
