The Phoney War is over

After the last few nothing games it's now time to show what we are made of. We looked very poor and disjointed today. Next Monday we need to start like we mean business and play out strongest side with all correct players in the best positions and hope we get a ref that knows the rules of football. OH and spend every day this week taking corners.

We looked like what we are a side playing within themselves with bigger fish to fry with key players out or coming back from injury.

We kept it 1-0. We had a run out and practice a 10v11, to see how we fare. Practiced being battered and bruised.
Gave the club that gave us Barlasser and The Tree some points to cement their stay in the champo.
We gave nothing away tactics-wise.

My thoughts exactly, just looked like a pre season friendly. Gave Coventry nothing to fear, probably same again next game then its the play offs, looking likely to be Coventry

Not one to breed negativity this close to an important period however I would love to see some form of corner statistics for the Championship this year. I believe despite being one of the highest scorers, we are near the bottom of the goals-from-corners rankings.

They have been mediocre at best the entire season. I have a running-joke with a mate whether its "keeper to catch or headed away" each time. The comical side is starting to wear thin.
