He will certainly be in the premier league next season hopefully with us.I don't see him costing anywhere near the quoted £25m as he's going into the last year of his contract. Thats the the reported figure Coventry wanted when wilder wanted him last year. I'd be very surprised if he is'nt playing in the premier league next season though.
I'd say we're seeing the top 3 strikers in the league on Saturday with him, Akpom and Archer. I think they're all capable of adapting to the Premier league if they get the opportunityIt's a shame he can't leave before the playoffs. Especially if we play them lol
He's an absolute handful. Think he's been MOTM the last 3-4 times we've played them. Brilliant with his back to goal and mobile with it.
Clearly Akpom has been amazing. Yey he's the best I've seen over the last 2 seasons. I'd say best players in the champo. That's not just best CF
Think they paid around 1mil? So cracking buisness

It will be interesting.I don't see him costing anywhere near the quoted £25m as he's going into the last year of his contract. Thats the the reported figure Coventry wanted when wilder wanted him last year. I'd be very surprised if he is'nt playing in the premier league next season though.
Hes only got a year left on his contract - nobody is paying £25m for him, Id say £15m topsIt will be interesting.
He was probably worth £20m last year, but quite a few had doubts (not me) that he was a one-season wonder. But, as he's actually got a lot better, then there will now be no doubts. It's not just his goals though, he's got a hell of a lot of attributes, which is why I really like him.
He's held on a year, and risked not being tied to a championship club/ contract (going to prem was unlikely after one good champo season), and it's going to pay off for him, as he'll now get a prem move, or top tier move abroad, on a much better contract than what he would have got last year.
There will be more than one club in for him, no doubt about it, and maybe even 5/6 from across Europe with firm bids. They will probably see £25m as a bargain, and competition for him will drive the price to £25-30m I expect. It's not like he's going to drop much value either, he's still only 24. He's not going to ride out another year in the Champo.
I don't think he would be good enough to keep a prem team up though, if they had little else, so more likely to go to a mid-table side I think, or a lower team which also have other forward options.
He is a real handful - no doubt.
Different to Archer though. Archer suits our style very well.
Not sure if swapping these two, improves us. Dunno…
yepYou meeting up with them all on Saturday for a drink and bite to eat, before they get their heads down for the game on Monday ?
He likes to play a little deeper than Archer and prefers starting on the left which means we would have to slightly rejig the left of the forward line but I think it would simply be different rather than worse. He's not quite got Archer's pace and Archer is probably a marginally better finisher but Gyokere's is a better dribbler with the ball and is very strong on it; allowing us to be a bit more direct when needed.Yea i agree with you there, as good as he is i'm not sure he'd be as effective as Archer with the way we play.
Gyökeres would have probably been more suited to us when Warnock was here.
fine, but i'm not shelling out for starters or dessertsNIce, make sure you pay for Archer's and Chuba's lunch as a thank you.
