Coburn scores when given a chance
Watmore showed he can score goals
Hernandez done it before
Tav shown ability at this level
Payero looks to have something
Jones can breeze passed anyone
Crooks has goals in him

I'm sure half the championship would love our squad. I cant see how a decent manager couldnt make us a threat going on the offensive and playing decent football.

What's going wrong...
 
Cannot fault that OP. I’ve thought this from the beginning of the season. We don’t have a bad side offensively. Defensively yes we are weak when we have injuries but to say we shouldn’t be challenging for too 6 is for me, a fallacy.
 
I like to compare the standard of our play off / promotion winning squad when trying to get a barometer of the quality of our squad now. How many of our team would get in to the team of 2014/15 and 2015/16. I would struggle to include any of them. Yes some of those players are good but nowhere near top six quality I believe.

I do the same but that was an organised team with players suited to a specific formation and all knew their jobs.

Tbh that defence was superb and the base of the midfield was outstanding. Maybe that's what we miss. Or maybe the attackers yeah that team was way better😔

A spine and leaders I would say is what were missing.
 
I don't think they are that good
Hernandez has shown nothing.
Jones has had a good start.
Tav is a good player, needs more work in the final third.
Watmore brilliant in some games anonymous in others.
Sporar very similar goalscoring record to Britt, but does look good when he's involved.
Uche good hold up player but final ball lacking and doesn't score.

Doesn't compare to bamford/kike/Tomlin/vossen/adomah
Or Nugent/downing/stuani/Ramirez.
