Morning Block, certainly in Howson case, latter end of his career, though he's probably the type of player that gives his all no matter club he's at, a true professional

Our best player for me. Hopefully a return to form for him tomorrow.

Will be hard to choose out of those two who will be the player of the season, if I was a betting man I would go with Dijksteel, but on the flip side, there will be as just a good argument for Fry winning it, bottom line, we're lucky to have two excellent players in among a few now in the team

I think it's based on 2020 as a whole, not just this season.

Dijksteel didn't play and Fry was awful for last season's part of 2020, Howson has been solid over both seasons and I'd say deserves it.
There's not a great deal of choice for young players, so Tav is probably right too.

Shows how bad things have been at Newcastle lately though.
 
Very good achievement this for the players and the team.
Tav can use this as a springboard to really try and realise his potential. Neil Warnock said today he thinks he will go on to make it in the Premier. Let's hope that is with Boro.
As to Jonny Howson - what a credit he is and lets hope he can dig deep now and drive the midfield to pull the team out of the present slump.

TBH Rob I don't think JH can give much more, he's consistent enough, the players around him need to dig deep to help, not a criticism Rob
