What’s with the new logos on all bbc apps

Have you noticed these , Very odd looking with coloured blocks on a black background.

I believe it's what they call, a rebrand...

You can see the meaning though. BBC Sounds looks like volume/audio increasing, BBC Sport looks like a league table/standings, BBC News looks like news article panels you would see on a news website.

Not keen on it myself.
