"Women are more emotional than men"

Que Ronaldo having a hissy fit after loosing to the Toffees and slapping a kids phone from his hand, allegedly.

I agree women are encouraged to show emotion and men are not. I have noticed women appear to get more excited after scoring and appear more team players. In comparison men are more boring in celebrations. Its not just a gender thing neither, some men its shake hands move on after a goal, others are in the crowd, and cultural as we saw with Ravanelli. Men tend to have more sensitive egos, hence the quickness to hit out in some situations. I tend to beleive its part biology part up bringing, but I could be wrong of course. I also think of gender as a spectrum with not all males the same nor all females the same.

Following Northern Ireland's defeat by England last night, their coach - Kenny Shiels - has come out and said

"Girls and women are more emotional than men. So they take a goal going in not very well."

Whether he's wrong or right, I can't see him being in the job by the end of week.

Because men's teams never lose confidence/composure after conceding?
He should be dismissed, nonsense like this is exactly the sort of thing that holds the women's game back
