On the live stream for those withnothing better to do.
Yorks off to a hood start on the back of winning their opening game
Pretty much a 2nd x1 these days thanks to the hundred.
though how any players can get 50 over games under their belts these days ?
 
How big is the ground at York? Yorkshire had loads of 'out' grounds before they moved just about everything to Headingley with the exception of the odd game at Scarborough

Went to York today and ground was good, it was a cracking atmosphere and the good vibes lasted pretty much 45 minutes from play starting. It was literally men v boys.

Bairstow
Malan
Root
Brook
Kohler Cadmore
Thompson
Willey
Rashid
Bess
Coad

That is a team of Yorkshire registered players, all fit (OK Bairstow wants a rest) but apart from the last two are stopped from playing today by the ECB. Can you imagine if FA stopped Liverpool or Man City from using 9 of their first team in an FA Cup game,

I know Lancs had a few missing but not 9!

I take your point, though bess played.
Lancs won't be far off 9?
 
ECB want to sideline the county game, with franchise cricket which they control being the pinnacle of the domestic game. Sad for those of us who remember great One Day finals at Lords in 70s and 80s (live on free to air tv), but it’s inevitable, trouble is I don’t trust ECB not to mess up the franchise model too, as they are already doing with England white ball and red ball, through over playing.
