Boro aim to build on the emphatic midweek victory over the Rams by taming the Terriers at the John Smith Stadium this afternoon, 3pm kick off.

Huddersfield sit in 16th place in the table. An up and down start to the campaign for the West Yorkshire club that did the dirty on the Cowley Brothers the morning after the night before their Championship survival had been assured. Instead they opted for Bielsa's assistant at Leeds, Carlos Corberan. It remains to be seen whether he can kick on under his own steam or whether the former Premier side will regret the chance to build under the Cowley's planning.

Anyway, for now Boro steaming along nicely in seventh place will hope to put in another building brick of a new unbeaten run against the team that came out the odd goal down after leading a seven goal thriller v Stoke last weekend.

Warnock's substitutions of Marvin Johnson and Djed Spence punished Derby on Wednesday night to clinch victory. Marvellous Marvin was the toast of Teesside after providing a curling finish into the top corner after cutting in from the right. Surely he has every chance of starting today. Britt showed a poacher's finish in the first period and his substitution should have preserved some legs for this afternoon.

Boro fans will be looking forward to the game and hopefully another point or three in the right direction under Warnock. It will be a long, hard road til the end of the year but let's keep it going and stick around with the chasing pack at the top of the table and then who knows where that will lead next year.
