Who's going down from the Prem?

I know this has been done to death, but it's getting VERY tight down there now and all the teams have finally played the same number of games. I think we can assume West Ham and Bournemouth are safe and that Southampton have had it after losing at home to the Cherries tonight, but who else is for the drop?

Looking at those fixtures, Leicester v Everton is obviously vitally important, but Leeds at Bournemouth, Forest v Southampton and Everton v Bournemouth are also key games as they are possibly the only games any of the bottom teams will actually win before the end of the season (it wouldn't surprise me if Leeds failed to pick up a single point from here to be honest).

My prediction is actually for Southampton, Everton and Leeds to go down now (which is amazing as I'd been backing Leicester and Forest for the drop until this week), however the next two fixtures for each team could completely change everything.

Accepting Southampton are down and that it's unfortunately unlikely for West Ham to join them I think Everton and Forest for me. I'm not sure how either would fare coming down. Forest have all their new signings and Everton have their own problems plus are building a new stadium. Perhaps with Everton it's all part of a masterplan to get relegated and then open the new stadium riding the promotion wave of enthusiasm.

Ps perhaps Forest are lucky as they are the only team still to play Chelsea.

Goes without saying next couple of games are very important, especially for Everton and Leeds. If they lose their next two, not looking good for them. Atm, I agree it will be Southampton, Everton and Leeds.

Southampton, Forest and Leeds, looking at the fixtures I don't see Everton getting out of it but I just know they'll scrape through some how.

You think Everton want to go down ?

With their history bring their usp ?

Everton and Leicester look to have the better fixtures.

Leeds need to beat Bournemouth and somehow get a win against either West Ham or Spurs, as they’ll get nothing against Man City.

Forest need to beat Southampton and might be lucky that Chelsea are currently rubbish.

I’ll say Southampton, Leeds and Forest to go down.

I think it increases the difficulty of getting out of the champo next season if it’s Everton and Leicester that join the saints….

Whoever comes down makes it more difficult because of the way funding is in place via the parachute payments. Frankly I see it as the three worst teams come down and therefore have a hard job in the Championship to bounce back.

Everybody seems convinced Everton are done. They will get out of it by beating Bournemouth on the final day I’m sure of it.

Yeah I get that any team coming down should be better than what’s down there and have the finance to maintain a new push but I just think some teams will have a better resilience and some may struggle due to attract or fund the right players.. but anything could happen and often does..
