Downing has been on there plenty of times, Woodgate was on there before he came back to coach us. We're given plenty of credit all the time, what are you on about?

Just a weird woe is me, small time mentality to think broadcasters are picking on you all the time because they dare to say positive things about opposition. Bizarre.

I find it nauseating also. But didn't they finish 7th a couple of times? Not exactly achieving nothing.
 
My missus watched about 20 mins of the first half and even she commented that the commentary was ridiculously biased. And she knows as much about footy as the average Geordie......

I like Goodman, good co-commentator, and I've defended him on here a few times. But today was just a bit blinkered towards Coventry for some reason.

No big deal.

Exactly this IMO. That was a very strange thing to do and I don’t think they’ve done it since, with any club, so maybe an experiment that didn’t work and will not be repeated.
 
I'm sorry, I just didn't see any bias in any of the commentary. What coventry have achieved over the last few years is incredible. We may have achieved incredible things similar to theirs in the past but they aren't going to keep telling people about 86. We've become a much bigger club than Coventry over the years and commentators like to build up the underdog. The commentary was fairly well balanced IMO.
 
They were either biased or clueless. They were adamant that Chuba fouled the man when he got booked even though the replay clearly showed Chuba knocked the ball away and was then fouled.

They were and usually are clueless. As all sky commentators are. They'll make a decision on f8rst look and will never detract that statement even though its clear on replay they were wrong due to their ego.
 
There’s a natural order within sky as to what the prem should be and it’s entrenched and is reinforced by the type of people they employ. Leeds sunlun forest derby Newcastle etc whatever division they are in.

And we are not in it.

By the way sorry to correct you but downing was a guest pundit not a commentator or summariser.
