Sheffield Uniteds PL budget.

better than giving all the premier league money to mercenary players like we did and we stunk it out anyway.
Part of the reason for wanting to get into the Prem is the excitement of big money signings, big money players, even if you're relegated you get a healthy wedge coming out.
They're gonna stink it out whilst showing 0 ambition.

At least signing Valdes, Negredo and DeRoon was a sign of ambition

Luon/ Cov and Sheffield United are gonna struggle to get more than 20 points. It's a shame we never overcome as boro would of done so much better but we stuck

I guess I'm lucky to have lived through the Rav, TLF, Emerson era, so I've had a chance to compare feelings. I enjoyed it at the time, but overall I get more of a buzz out of developing relative unknowns.

I wouldn't begrudge the young uns the buzz of experiencing big signings, but the thought of it doesn't excite me anymore.

I didn't mind de Roon; as for Negredo and Valdes, I'd rather have a plan without ambition than ambition without a plan.

£20million budget and they'll focus on loans and Free transfers. They're apparently going to offer Billy Sharp a new deal to.

Enjoy the Prem 🤣
Makes sense.. the have ex prem players in that squad. They can make a good go of it using free transfers and loans imo..

Loris Karius - Free

Vladimir Coufal - Free
Caglar Söyüncü - Free
Yerry Mina - Free
Ryan Giles - Loan

Reiss Nelson - Free
Naby Keïta - Free
Youri Tielemans - Free
Mohamed Elyounoussi - Free

Jordan Ayew - Free
Cameron Archer - £20m

They wont be able to clog their way past the likes of Man City / Arsenal / United / Liverpool / Brighton / Chelsea / Villa, etc.
They`l be made mincemeat of.
An that old carthorse will be skinned like a rabbit if he thinks he can compete against the likes of Haaland, Archer, Watkins, Mahres, etc, etc.

That's what I think to
It depends. If Coventry win the final to go up with them then yep, I'd fancy them to finish above the Blades. They have 3, possibly 4 players already at a lower PL standard in their first 11, sign 4 or 5 more and hope a few can make the step up/come through the ranks.

If Luton get through, not so much. They won't get away with their hoofball and argey bargey tactics anywhere near as much up there so will need a complete clear out and reset, or else they're down and out and below Sheff United IMHO. Bit of a big ask. 1980s Wimbledon would finish rock bottom if they were dumped into today's Prem.

The Blades are basically going up with the same core team that they were relegated with so I’m not expecting anything different this time around.

Not forgetting they’ve been very lucky not to have been docked points from this past season. However if there is one silver lining for them and that is they’ll get relegated with a decent chance of fixing their obvious debt issues.
