Even without the naff green ramsdens, the 2011 kit would’ve been tarnished by the white socks imo.

I think adidas were hit and miss. Home Hits = 10-11, 17-18 (minus the socks of course). Home Misses = almost everything else. Away kits were more successful, I liked almost every one from 11-12 onwards, with 17-18 being particularly beautiful.
 
The Kranka Prem home strip was a joke, possibly the worse ever since I started in 1968.... the yoke is decent from 66 ish the band in 74 was a dream and really puts us in a unique picture amongst red shirted clubs.... Poland and Turkey copied us (hahahah) The kranka red band which looked like it had slipped from the chest down to the belly was unclassy and looked terrible .... Simple is best for Boro Band

Some canny anniversary’s coming up 50th Anniversary of ‘the band’ - mostly over the years it has been ‘the yoke’ a good time time to see it back. Errea didn’t really tackle ‘the yoke’ 2000/01 was probably the best example..

20 years since the cup win is certainly something to write home about, the all in red dial a phone kit.. certainly not our most impressive kit but worth of a nod none the less. Our all in red pin stripe number certainly did the business for our last promotion season 2015/16.. all in red does the business. ALL IN RED KIT FOR THE WIN!

Last promotion season had us in the YELLOW AND BLACK away kit.. superb for me.. loved it! Keep it simple for me.. we haven’t really had a black out kit and I don’t think we’ve ever had a pink kit. Black out would be smart.. save the pink un for the prem when we don’t have a gambly sponsor.

HOME - ALL RED
AWAY - ALL BLACK

C’mon investigators, sleuths and ITKs.. what are we having.. what have we got?

50th anniversary of the hoop, not a band. So my wish would be to have that back
 
I can’t actually remember the last time I bought any kit. I bought the training top from the Karanka promotion season though.

I'd add naff material too - and if anything the plain pale blue away kit was even worse. The excitement around Adidas returning as kit suppliers was completely wiped out by them presenting us with two standard template kits with no bespoke touches. Perfectly symbolised the end of the PL/Cup Finals/Euro era.
 
Yeh Adidas was basically any sunday league kit with a boro badge on.

We certainly didnt get the Arsenal treatment etc

Agreed.

Saw the 1992 PL home kits yesterday and we just look generic.

Interchangeable with Arsenal and barely distinguishable from the 3 other red kits beyond the sponsors.

Though obviously the blues are just as bad.

Ours looks class there tbf.. Nottingham Forrest’s is smart, all the blue kits are dump. Norwich is the stand out shirt there.. and it looks like a pile of sick,
