Leicester crowd ?

I admit I am a bit anal retentative with crowds, I like the finer stats bit and the guesestimating.

Club have just said online they expect over 30k.

I think Blocks 54 and 55 are the last ones to be released and bring home support to a potential approx of 29,700 - if there are 1800 tickets left thats 27,900 home tickets sold plus say 2,500 away tickets - gives a crowd of 30,400 so far. Certainly the highest this season. Its also nice to have such a big crowd on Remembrance Day. Alot of later relatives of the Teesside dead of WW1 and WW2 will be at the game in a crowd of that size. I had, 4 multiply that by 28,000 and that would be 112,000, OK with over laps lets say half of that i.e 56,000 dead represented and thats just Boro fans.

I'm also obsessed with crowd numbers.😃
Bear in mind that, from my experience, MFC aren't always good with numbers. Before the Stoke game they said they expected a crowd in excess of 28k. In fact it turned out to be below 27k.

The Stoke one was a bit strange - I know there were only 1,100 Stoke opposed to 2.200 Brum, but I was expecting the same Boro support which would have given a crowd of around 27,400 when it was actually only 26,732. Rooney appeared to have added about 668 Boro fans to the gate!

I do think Leicester are a better draw than Stoke and Birmingham to Boro fans, because Leicester were a top half Premier League side for a good number of years, have been flying this season, and are bringing approx 1,450 more fans than Stoke.

Beautiful day.
The Sunshine should encourage a mad rush for tickets today ..
I fancy us to make a massive statement today
3-0 Boro

NB - realistic capacity is just under 32k - its getting close to a full house.

Approx 1250 seats left.

Somewhere between 30k and 30.6k, for me at present, it will defintitely be the biggest gate of the season so far.
Yes, it's a shame we lose about 2000 seats from our safe capacity.

Cheers NR - add about 1250 unsold seats to your 29.7k gives a Leicester game capacity of about 30.95k - do you agree?

For posters interest we lost seats in the summer of 2016 for the new video screen and some seats were taken out of the top of the East End Stand for the media - which reduced capacity from 34,800 (unsegregated)

How many seats are open to home supporters in total, would you estimate?
That's always the number I find tricky to work out.
Approx. 28.5k seats open to home fans after the segragation in the south was moved.

Stadium still holds 33.8k and the largest attendance last season was 32,187 including 2,118 from Coventry for that dead rubber game.

Definitely thereabouts.

I'm assuming military personnel from the Yorkshire Regiment will be at the game with it being our Remembrance Day fixture, so some seats will have been kept back for them. I ain't sure whether their number will be counted for the total crowd figure?
