I understand this comment but diallo in my opinion is better than anything we currently have available, so it would be a Yes from me!

I not saying we don’t need more additions just not ones were we are giving other teams players game time with no real option to buy them after the loan ends.
 
He would be competing with Jones on the right if we signed him I think.

Would allow us to play Forss up front more though



I can’t see us being in for him, personally

He doesn't fit the model. The model is developing our own players to sell for a profit and filling in gaps with short term experienced loans. I don't think we have a gap where he plays do he'd be reducing the development of one of our own players, even if he is better.

We do have a gap at centre forward so a signing in that position should be priority.

Greenwood is the only signing they didn't fit the model this season but the £1.5m option makes him similar to a permanent signing.

If so we should sign one. Not a midfield player that another side in the division with an even bigger striker shortage than we have has occasionally been forced to shoehorn in as a false nine.
 
I cant imagine him coming to the championship. He is comfortably good enough to play in the premier league.

We currently have Forss, Jones, Rogers, Azaz, Crooks, McGree, Silvera, Greenwood, Gilbert all competing for one of the three places. Diallo is as good (if not better) as any of those players but I cant imagine it is an area we are looking to further strengthen, particularly if it prevents one of our own players from getting game time and hindering development.

I would like to see it happen though simply because he is so goid.

Maybe the idea is to play Forss as a CF.. then we may need to strengthen the right wing.

He can play a number of positions., rose tinted glasses on say he would fit the team perfectly!

Oh my days.. Sunderland.. losing mogga, having their bar painted up in geordie colours., and then Diallo signing for the Berra!

Purely as a fan.. Gibbo must want to pull out all the stops to make this happen!!

Agree. Too good for the championship. Proved himself at Sunderland last season. If ManU want to send him out on loan, they should be looking at a lower end prem club where he will likely start than not.
