Swing of 16.4% from Tories to Labour in Kingswood

It’s out there online. Check the Labour website for starters. Then have a look at all the Tory scandals over the last few years. All the Tory law breaking. Pop back in a few hours and you might be able to tell us what you have discovered.

This place is a great arena for political debate but it’s not a learning tool. Go and research things yourself.
I love the fact that nobody so far has managed to answer my question without name dropping the Tories in the same sentence , give it a rest man , read some of my posts above I,m anything but a tory

I read the labour manifesto a while back , very little in there that's really achievable , some good things , but not achievable anytime soon

The public were hesitant to accept a war with Iraq #2, but Blair was full on swinging from Bush Jrs ding-a-ling and if the USA said "were going in" Blair, like a faithful poodle, was always going to manipulate the situation to suit this agenda - "ooooh look at all those WMDs. Naughty Saddam". "Where?" "....don't worry we'll hopefully find them" "CHAAAARRRGGGGGE".

Did a lot of good Blair, had a good 10 ish years....but Iraq will forever be a stain on what was a pretty good tenure.
that's what Blair wants you to think. He was Rod Hull to Bush's Emu.

The Tories spent 14 years of stealing from the tax payer so things may take a little time.
However, some things will happen such as the renationalisation of the railways.
Banning zero hour contracts
building more social housing
Making existing housing habitable
Cracking down on rogue landlords
Investing in the NHS
re introducing Sure Start

As for your quip about Starmer being in charge of the DPP and not prosecuting Saville, I would like to remind you that Thatcher was in charge of the country and she knighted Saville- despite being told about his behaviour.

OK let’s just assume for a moment that your not a Tory shill you tell us

What can the tories do in 4 years that they couldn’t in the previous 14 with what is now 5 different leaders. ??

Bit of a backwards question that isn't it? If someone isn't a "tory shill" why would you expect them to speak favourably of the tories on here?

Labour haven't put out a manifesto under Starmer, so if you've read something it's probably Corbyn's from 2017 or 2019.

If your problem with what you read was that you didn't think the policies were achievable then tbf Starmer's Labour is probably going to be more appealing to you.

Good list Trug. Unfortunately can't say I believe the party will stick by those policies. Reeves has already let slip once that renationalising the railways won't be happening for starters...

Hope you're right and I'm wrong though. (y)

Apparently He was not the reviewing lawyer in charge of probing the Savile allegations.
Look into how the CPS actually works.
But he was the head of the DPP , I cannot believe that a high profile case such as Saville simply passed him by

All well and good IF they happen, however much much more is needed by whoever gets in , we all know it , however some won't admit it .
They would rather just call anyone who highlights it a Tory , which is complete and utter bull**** .

My mistake , I believe it was this I read

I believe that as the franchises expire the railway companies will be taken into public ownership. That way there is no cost to the tax payer.

OK then. What is it that you would like to see to change the country or to make it "great" again?

Yep hope so. Don't think Reeves, Streeting and Mandelson want even that much though unfortunately.
