If we win we might stop Leeds going up, but then that makes it more likely we will sign Greenwood!!!!!!!!!
I'm so conflicted!!!!
I'm so conflicted!!!!
You could say the same for any friend, colleague or acquaintance that supports a team that isn't a Boro fan.You don't even need to leave Teesside.
I know plenty of Leeds fans in Redcar.
A guy I went to school with was a Leeds fan.
If Leeds go up Greenwood's wage bonus might well him out of the Championship. If we win we might stop Leeds going up, but then that makes it more likely we will sign Greenwood!!!!!!!!!

It certainly is tonight….You could say the same for any friend, colleague or acquaintance that supports a team that isn't a Boro fan.
I also work in Tadacaster a suburb of Leeds (of sorts) and there's no interest in Boro from the locals here either. I'm not fussed either way, doesn't bother me if they think there's a rivalry or not but it's just not a big game for them in isolation.
I don't know if I can watch it, I would be fine if I was at the stadium I would be able to spend the entire match abusing Leeds, but in front of a screen I get butterflies and feel sick at the thought of losing to them and it overrides any joy i might get from the thought of winning against themSouth stand just about sold out with 60 remaining. They'll sell tonight.
Probably 1000-1500 left stadium wide so might touch 31k tonight. Great effort for a dead rubber game on a Monday night. It shows that Boro v Leeds is a big one for the Boro fans.
Spare a thought for me having to go into the office tomorrow. I would usually have scheduled a day away but i've got meetings i can't escape. If we win i'm coming into the office in my Boro shirt.I don't know if I can watch it, I would be fine if I was at the stadium I would be able to spend the entire match abusing Leeds, but in front of a screen I get butterflies and feel sick at the thought of losing to them and it overrides any joy i might get from the thought of winning against them
Yes selling steadily today.South stand just about sold out with 60 remaining. They'll sell tonight.

If you've bought a ticket in the last 2 years then you'll have a minimum of 3 priority points. Providing you've assigned the ticket to yourself. This is often where people make a mistake and don't assign the tickets to their account. My mate is on Facebook complaining that the club wouldn't let him buy a ticket for the game tonight because he doesn't have enough priority points.
I thought the rule was you have to have a purchase history?
I'm sure he's been to games in the last two years so this is probably what's happened. If you've bought a ticket in the last 2 years then you'll have a minimum of 3 priority points. Sunderland and Newcastle are bigger games for most Boro fans. I think for the older generation Leeds is a big game but not for all. Everyone will have a team they don't like outside of the 2 north east teams, mine is Forest, fans are arrogant and deluded. It doesn't feel like a big game to me to be honest.
I'm probably in the minority but I'm not particularly bothered about Leeds. I don't dislike them like I do Sunderland and Newcastle.
It's obviously a massive game for them though and it should be a great atmosphere, so I am looking forward to it.
