No definitely the 3rd. It was scored up the north stand. He put a real soft tackle in. The one that was evidently offside but ultimately could.have been avoided by some better deWas it the 4th - and winning - goal?

We really shouldn’t be writing off Thomas after a spell with us - I think he could come goodYeah, I thought O'Brien played well. Thomas was ok and played a big part in the 1st goal but some (again) have made their mind up early and that's that as far as they are concerned. Dijksteel was rusty (surprised he played) and might be the last time we see him. Silvera was Silvera, capable of excellence but quiet for large parts (not too dissimilar to Greenwood in that respect

He would need to learn to control a moving football firstI wonder if dijksteel could do a job for us In midfield? It’s not happening like Hel be gone in the summer
Silvera would be out of his depth in a small puddle to be honestSilvera looks out of his depth when he starts a game.
Ayling is very good offensively as a full back, that’s the strong part of his game, delivers some great crosses too, but he’s not as good defensively and isn’t the quickest now. Jack Clarke comprehensively took him apart in the game at the Riverside for example, exposing his lack of pace. It would be nice if we could stop conceding so many goals next season otherwise we’re going to have to score a hell of a lot of goals to compensate for all we let in.At least we know we need to sign Ayling tonight. Proper full back. I knew it anyway like but some others still have doubts.
Agree. I haven't been O'Brien's biggest fan but that was the best I've seen him. Just shows what a run of games can do. Thomas also, who has been generally shocking, was much more dependable, and got involved in some positive moments. Thought the team as a whole were excellent and reinforces my view that Carrick is the man to take us forward.I'd have had O'Brien down as our second best player after ELL on the night. Thought he was really good.
Dijksteel had a stinker; I have rated him in the past, and I have some sympathy as he's not played much football recently. However, MC clearly doesn't rate him and I don't expect to see him start again.
Silvera has som flashes of ability, but they are neither bright enough nor often enough for him to be starting.
Thomas is, and always was, just a body to back up our other LBs when Bangura was injured.
O'Brien? Are you winding me up?Not the best tonight were they?
GOOD GOD NO!!!!!!!I wonder if dijksteel could do a job for us In midfield? It’s not happening like Hel be gone in the summer
I'd drive Silvera to Sydney myself. Having slight glimpses won't cut it in this league, he goes missing for large parts of the games and the ball bounces off him. Whether it's Carrick's instructions or Sammy's laziness, but I didn't see him try to run in behind their back line all night.
Having said that, I thought Azaz was our poorest forward player tonight. He needs to get on those weights through the Summer, a fresh breeze would knock him off the ball.
