This is demonstrably not true and you know it.More importantly, they are all the same.

"Holliday flights have increased"Thanks for the link.
Tnt now FedEx have been based at the airport running HGV’s and 7.5t wagons for 20 years with other large vehicles also coming onto the airport Ind.est with no access problem. So not sure that is been highlighted in the report. Plan B was mentioned 5 years ago and since then the holiday flights have increased (thou imo it will never make money on flights) and new companies have been attracted with other expanding which hopefully will continue towards the airport being profitable. No doubt questions need to asked about deals but with it looking likely Labour will win a landslide at the GE any wrong doing will be found out and put right.
It'll be the fact he's complaining that will be used against him tooAs far as McDonald is concerned, what can an MP do when his party is not in power? Apart from complain about things, which he has done.
Wait until Starmer orders a proper investigation into his dealings. Now that really will be a . Tories ️🗳Like you did 4 years ago
The attitude that I'm seeing online is "he might be breaking the rules but he's doing something to support the area"Betfair have a betting market on Tees Valley mayor.
Houchen is currently 1.40 (2/5) or you can get 3.00 (2/1) on the Labour candidate.
It seems big on the Labour guy if it is a close run race.
However - I would be concerned backing Labour based on results in the last local elections in places like Normanby (working class Teesside ward) that are still Conservative - post Boris Johnson and post Brexit etc. To me these are still strange times - Normanby to me was fairly solid Labour traditionally. This hints at significant dissatisfaction amongst working class voters on Teesside with Labour.
There are serious concerns about the honesty of Houchen, particularly transparency and manipulation, but its that enough to overcome the concerns of Labour not representing working class people in areas like Teesside. That is the key question.
Not true at all.Think Labour view Houchen losing as a bit of a long shot and may have pulled the reins in financially, to spend in more winnable contests.
If all of us use what social media or even fmttm presence to say #BinBen and vote for Chris McEwan.Houchen will get back in sadly. His local PR machine is much better than the Labour one and people seem to like him (strange but true). I won’t vote for him, that’s all I can do.
He will, however, be a dead duck when Labour win the next election and (hopefully) the local Tory MP’s are shown the door. He will then spend the next 4 years (or whatever the term is) blaming the government for him not delivering on his promises of the hospital (never in his remit) etc etc.
Maybe there were very local issues at play - like Save Eston Baths etc.Betfair have a betting market on Tees Valley mayor.

Carlsberg don't do election counts....Can you imagine the scenes at the count and declaration if Houchen loses. That on its own should make people come out and vote McEwan.
Unrelated to the election, but I've just found out that Ben Houchen's uncle scored for Coventry in their 1987 FA Cup final win, watched his goal at half time of the football today.
A Coventry fan was showing me his match ticket for the final the other day, I didn't even realise one of the goalscorers was from Middlesbrough or that he was related to Ben Houchen, the final was over 5 years before I was born, I'll mention that to him when I next see him.
It's trueHas that been fact checked, ?
I'm not sure Ben would be too happy working under a Labour government with the threat of the NAO loomingAll that you see from the Labour campaign is negativity towards Houchen, no positivity behind their own candidate.
The debate on TV was so easily won by Houchen, the other two could only criticise - not come up with anything substantial for the area.
What will likely happen this year is that there will be a Labour government with Houchen as mayor - I personally think this could be a good thing and has worked for Manchester and London in the cases of Burnham and Khan.
So now BenT has ruined one of the great FA Cup Final moments. He's pure evil. It's true
A sporting family history leading Ben Houchen to success

Houchen as mayor can never be a good thing. He shouldn't be trusted with the petty cash. All that you see from the Labour campaign is negativity towards Houchen, no positivity behind their own candidate.
