In that case Ben had better start getting it to make a profit then, as Plan B is and always has been since buying it back to flatten it and turn it over to property developers if the Airport fails.

Now, does Ben happen to know any property developers?

When was the last time you were at the airport loads of building work going on. Thanks to Peel running it into the ground it will take time to turn it around.

As for your plan b that’s crap. FedEx just signed a 5 contracted, Drakken just extended its hanger for new RAF contract, 2 new hangers being built for Willis Aviation, 4 warehouses being built (yes by Bens mates) another 8 planned.

Plan B isn't crap it's literally what it says in TVCA's own documents.

Thanks for the link.

Tnt now FedEx have been based at the airport running HGV’s and 7.5t wagons for 20 years with other large vehicles also coming onto the airport Ind.est with no access problem. So not sure that is been highlighted in the report. Plan B was mentioned 5 years ago and since then the holiday flights have increased (thou imo it will never make money on flights) and new companies have been attracted with other expanding which hopefully will continue towards the airport being profitable. No doubt questions need to asked about deals but with it looking likely Labour will win a landslide at the GE any wrong doing will be found out and put right.

As far as McDonald is concerned, what can an MP do when his party is not in power? Apart from complain about things, which he has done.
