That's the 2nd vax done

No side effects so far, although it's only been 2 hours! Didn't really get any after the 1st so not expecting anything other than a slightly bruised arm and maybe a bit of lethargy
Seems to depend which one you get. I had Pfizer and only a sore arm after both. My wife had Moderna and had chills and a slight fever the day after the second. I've heard the same from others who had Moderna.

AZ for me, wife felt a bit off colour and flu-ey after her 1st AZ, but nowt major

My wife had her 2nd Pfizer dose the other day and was no worse than the first - just a sore arm. That said, some of her colleagues were wiped out by the second dose. Just individual immune responses I think

I had AZ, sore tender arm and very lethargic for 3 or 4 days. Its thought you get more of a reaction if you've already had covid prior to the jab, I think I had it last May but not tested so not certain. Wife had same, tender arm only.

I honestly expected a rant about the poor quality of vacuum cleaners of a certain brand and I was all set to weigh in after wheels fell off mine

I didn't realise that they were using Moderna yet.

Awaiting my second Pfizer. Are they making folks wait the whole 12 weeks between first and second vaccinations ?

They are trying to do second dose around 10/11 weeks, you should be able to book your second now, I did the day after my first, gave me a choice exactly 11 weeks after first at local pharmacy.

The gap between mine was 3 days short of the full 12 weeks, but some colleagues were 10-11 weeks, today was the earliest I could book the 2nd for some reason though, probably down to chosen location to get it done

I had 1st jab yesterday AZ and was wiped out by 8pm, but I have had coronavirus -and as you say it's meant to be a bigger reaction for those of us who've had it

When I took my dad for his second (Pfizer) I was talking to the Practice Manager who said that the 2nd Pfizer was the worst for side effects. He said half of the practice were off sick after they'd had their second dose.

No effect on my old man, but he's indestructible :D
