Pochettino or Rodgers would be a great next manager for them.
That’s why they’ll appoint Zidane, buy some more strikers and the circus will continue.
What a mess United have been for the last few years.
I hope they go all out for Klopp just for a laugh...........I think they will go for Luis Enrique.
if you are keen to throw fivers away chuck one in my direction Tom.Think I'm going to have a daft fiver on Southgate to take over
Was just about to post the same. It's a back page headline for sports fans, to lead with it is a bit ridiculous IMO in light of what else is happening around the worldTop news story FFS.
I think there might be too much work for Zidane to do with that squad. Yes they have strong attacking options but midfield and defence is very, very poor. He took over a ready made side with Madrid. Seems to have ruled himself anyway.Pochettino would be good for them
Zidane too in a way, theres big names (ego’s?) in that dressing room and he would already have their respect because of who he is. He’s also shown he can win things at a big club. People think anyone can just manage a big club and win things but it’s not true, as we’ve seen with Man Utd. It’s no coincidence that Mourinho is the only one that won a couple of trophies and others like Ole didn’t.
I think Rodgers is a very good manager but I’m not sure the players would react to him so well. Also I get the feeling the fans wouldn’t give him an inch. Ex-liverpool, not a glamorous name. I think it would go south pretty quick.
Totally agree.I'm a bit gutted. I think most fans have been enjoying the demise of UTD. We've had 30 years of glory hunting fans chirping about how good they are. I imagine any manager will improve them.
I mean it's not like they are awful. These fans don't know they are born. They finished 2nd last season and a European final. They wonna watch Boro with 1 win in 11 under Woody
I think the telling aspect is that I don't see any club in the champo (never mind prem) thinking 'Ole's available' and offering him a job. I don't think anyone rates him. So to get the UTD is beyond baffling. They have also missed out on Poch / Conta and Tuchel in that time. Apparently Poch is the No1 target. They could have had him for free 18 months ago.
I genuinely believe the signing of Ronaldo will end in tears. The guys like a pechulant kid. I'm sure he only signed because of Ferguson (who's also a bit of an issue). You don't need a legend former boss still actively envolved in things.
Declan Rice was the summer signing they needed to make.Totally agree.
I honestly don't even think Norwich would've swapped Farke for Ole.
Ole was out of his depth. He hadn't a clue how to manage a defence or what tactics were needed in certain situations. And this was apparent very early in his tenure.
And agree, the Ronaldo move just made matters worse. They have needed a top class DM for years now and they've still not addressed it.
Agree, but a lot of top clubs will be keen on him and he's only going to improve too.Declan Rice was the summer signing they needed to make.
