Happy finally buying a striker day

An ITK on Brentford's board seems to be suggesting Forss is almost done.

Hopefully be the car emoji, he means he's travelling down today 😅

Encouraging noises from the Brentford fans on that thread about him (last page anyway, didn't read the rest)

Would ease a lot of anxiety for people if we did get one over the line.

I'd be fairly pleased with Forss as an option, but I think we'd need somebody better as our main guy this season.

Having a player in permanently that is in the plans would also take some of the pressure off these loan signings.

Yeah we definelty needed one of the strikers to be a permanent signing. Hopefully we get him all done by tomorrow and he’s in the squad saturday ready to make an impact

Imagine the pressure on whoever the first striker is :ROFLMAO:

There'll be a whole lot of "Well, least we have (enter name here) so even if we dont get anymore we have (enter name here) and Watmore and Coburn at least!"

It's a good thread that, Brentford fans clearly rate him.
They do make a good point about Wilder and strikers though, he must be wondering what he has to do to find a success.

Forss, Watmore, Coburn, Muniz (and only one loan) would not be bad

I'm sure Wilder has had plenty of success with strikers, given his record on promotions

The wilder striker thing is a bit of nonsense based on signing two players that haven't worked out yet. McBurnie and Brewster.

Not sure why Brewster hasn't worked out, maybe injuries, because he's clearly talented as his time at Swansea showed. It's worth noting that he's the manager, so the fees, aren't his concern particularly, he doesn't negotiate them. At Boro of course we have Keiran involved in identifying players, so it isn't just Wilders eye. But Wilder has had striking success, he picked up McGoldrick and got him scoring better than ever before, and at Northampton he signed Richards and got 33 goals in 54 starts. So he can pick a striker.

Anyway, Forss, he's a good age, good enough to play now, but young enough to really improve.
