Snowflake Footballers

Another annoying trend sneaking into football, defenders needing treatment after heading the ball Another form of cheating as ref has to stop the match.

I think a stop clock is the only way we'll be able to limit the rampant gamesmanship and outright cheating.

We had 5 minutes of added time against QPR, I think the ball was in play for about 1.

The exact same thing is happening in the Villa game right now.

Whilst it is a terrible thread title, it has nothing to do with being a 'snowflake' it is gamesmanship pure and simple, this type of constant cheating drives me mad.

They need to either stop the in play clock and have two halves of 30 minutes game time or whatever, or simply enforce any player going down injured for treatment has to leave the field for a three minute assessment or something.

If you are under pressure defending a lead you shouldn't just be able to lay down for a bit to stop the oppositions momentum then get up and carry on when you fancy it.
