Pension funds would have collapsed today...

...were it not for the measures taken by the Bank of England.

This Govt needs to be removed as a matter of urgency. No longer can the Tories lay the blame at the feet of Labour for what was a global economic crisis in 2008, when their 'mini-budget' almost caused a huge economic crisis within the UK and without global factors to blame.

This should, at the very least, show the electorate that the Tories have absolutely no clue economically and this should be another nail in the Tory coffin for a decade or more.

She has to go very quickly, if she stays in office her inability to deal with rudimentary questions will really “spook” the markets.

She can’t hide for long, perhaps she won’t go to the conference next week?

What were they thinking off?

What were they thinking - same as most Tories. Saw the potential for a lot of ££££££ and thought "I'll have some of that".

Consequences? Somebody elses problem.

Is this all part of some 4-D chess plan by the billionaires who run the Tory party?

Johnson was too toxic so he had to go. Replace him with some colluding out and out mad dogs who are so horrific their own MPs get rid of them pronto. Replace them with a slightly less mad dog who seems sane by comparison such that the proles calm down and let him bleed then white because by now they are terrified and in total confusion.

Wonder how the im alright Jack lot that voted tory are feeling now that their mortgage will be 400 quid higher and their gas bills double what it was last year and now pensions on the verge of collapse

Especially considering that the majority of Tory voters are only a couple of missed paydays from financial meltdown.

Why working and even middle classes vote Tory is unfathomable. Hopefully this reality check will lead to many of them thinking hard about whether to vote for them again in future.
