I'd love for it to be England's national anthem, we need a separate English anthem and we have for a long time.
Would quite like the UK to have a new one too, but there are far fewer options.

I believe it was written by a French soldier on the eve of a battle in or around Strasbourg, initially as a poem.
His company liked it so much, they put music to it and sung as a battle anthem.
I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong.

I think that we should adopt the Birdy song for the english anthem. You dont need to know the words, but the teams would look great doing the dance.
