Coastal towns are traditionally Tory for some reason, maybe a lot of old people retiring to the sea, so these figures look quite strong for Labour.Labour need to be taking a bigger slice of that 19%. Also a further 2% drop for Lib Dems so essentially 21% of voters there to try and win. 9% isn't enough.
Whatever the overall opinion polls show unless Sunak works some kind of miracle with the economy then I expect the next election Labour around 42%, Tories around 30% and the rest split amongst Lib Dems, Reform, SNP etc.
As bad as this particular Tory government has been their core vote will stick by them because they are frightened the Lord of the manor will find out and evict them if they vote for somebody else or they fear the socialists will come in and at gunpoint take the rest of what little money they have and give it to the immigrants.
