You are right and that is exactly what BoroLioness is doing already. She has started working with the Boro Supporters Forum and the football club but wants to spread the word as widely as she can from the outset. And made a valuable contribution at her first Fans Forum meeting last month.Just building upon this, maybe reach out to the other fan groups (12th man, Rainbow Reds etc) and harness their lessons learnt as you're treading a well worn path now, and so they should be able to help direct you in the right direction. Probably also worth reaching out to supporter services who can register you as an official group within the club.
Good luck, I actually know of one other female Boro fan of Asian descent who posts on here but I'll let her out herself.
Thanks mate. Now as we have established that I am genuine, may be you could help me by getting the word out for me....there may even be a homemade curry in it for you, if I can get this group off the ground
rainbow reds yep - yep that’s what I meant when I said “RR” of course.Just building upon this, maybe reach out to the other fan groups (12th man, Rainbow Reds etc) and harness their lessons learnt as you're treading a well worn path now, and so they should be able to help direct you in the right direction. May be a bit of history would be good...so there has been a group set up already...however the group appears to be somewhat of none entity.Whatever you call the new group it`ll have the support just like the other groups do.
I`m guessing you already have a couple of close people involved, maybe try networking through your friends on maybe a WhatsApp group or create a group on Facebook.......maybe Boro BAME supporters group.
If you can get a small group together then maybe get together with the club so that you can arrange to sit together.
There`s also a regular meeting with the club, maybe someone on here, maybe an Admin can introduce you if they can verify your intent
Good Luck

What happened to Boro Fusion? They haven’t tweeted in 3 months..May be a bit of history would be good...so there has been a group set up already...however the group appears to be somewhat of none entity.
So I have already been working with the club reps to get something else off the ground and have attended a few meetings with them, and more meetings next week.
I haven't named the group as I want members to name it.
But I am taking on board all suggestions from you all, so I'm going to set up an email address so folk can email to express their interest, I will give the group a temporary name. I am already getting some posters together to advertise the venture....I'm not sure how to bring the balloons in yet mind....so will work on that suggestion
All your comments are really helpful...so huge thanks....keep them coming

I have come out of that group as it didn't appear to be a group at all. I was never kept informed of any meetings and that is if any meetings were actually happening. Nothing was being done basically and it just appears to be one or two blokes running it for themselves. What happened to Boro Fusion? They haven’t tweeted in 3 months..
Would be good if you could let her know about the venture and encourage her to get in touchJust building upon this, maybe reach out to the other fan groups (12th man, Rainbow Reds etc) and harness their lessons learnt as you're treading a well worn path now, and so they should be able to help direct you in the right direction. I would say aimHow is BAME pronounced, as aim or army?
Fair play for starting something up on your own! I though Boro Fusion sounded a bit naff tbh.. like a failed MLS franchise!I have come out of that group as it didn't appear to be a group at all. I was never kept informed of any meetings and that is if any meetings were actually happening. Nothing was being done basically and it just appears to be one or two blokes running it for themselves.
If they carry on good luck to them but when I asked any questions of the organiser of what was going on, I would get stonewalled and told they had plans that they couldn't tell me about....so I have walked as I love my club and want to help them to engage with true Boro BAME fans
