So you'll be bummed even harderI will be yes but not in the early bird stage as I can’t afford to pay out £510 in the next 3 weeks

Yeah fair enough. I think everyone has a figure in mind and i definitely could afford a £30 increase i just don't agree with it, not sure the entertainment and enjoyment is there to warrant an increase.
Me and the boys will just watch it at home without the long walk back along dockside road
There'll be so many people in this boat.
Yeah im 99% i'll be saying No. I'm not looking forward to telling the kids as they'll be devastated.
Sorry to hear that but I don’t think you’ll be alone sadly.Yeah fair enough. I think everyone has a figure in mind and i definitely could afford a £30 increase i just don't agree with it, not sure the entertainment and enjoyment is there to warrant an increase.

Stopped being a community club a long time ago.Sorry to hear that but I don’t think you’ll be alone sadly.
It’s a real own goal this from a “community club”
I understand 100%. I go with my two boys (12yr and 14yr) and cant remember too many times where we've all come away buzzing, where we've spoke about a good performance from a certain player, where we've checked the league table and been looking forward to the next game. They love the club and play as Boro on FIFA, ask for shirts for xmas etc and have no interest in any other top teams so they are Boro mad its just became quite mundane and the entertainment and excitement isn't there. It may be a bad season and may be down to me to educate them on this and try to get them to look ahead and take this season on the chin but its hard and when the prices go up AGAIN, it just feels like a proper smack in the chops off the club.I'm really undecided.
It's not that we'll miss out promotion, but I've forgotten the good feeling of going home after a good display. It's poor at the moment and I struggle to see what will kick start us into a good run. However the biggest factor is my disenchantment with football currently, poor officials, changes to rules, off-side, goal kicks, VAR (I know not in this league) players falling over pathetically, time wasting 'injuries' to manage the game. It used to be a fair contest between two sides.
I've opened myself up for criticism I know, but that's how I'm feeling.
For me it would totally depend on what I earned that year and how much everything else was going up (or indeed, not).Regardless? So if they increase 5-10% every season would you continue to renew? I'm not having a go or being chewy im just wondering if you have a figure in mind that if you saw as the price for your renewal would make you seriously think twice.
My fvcking wages haven't gone 21% over the last 3 years. It;s an extra £1.15 a game over last year.
Everything else has gone up far more than that.
Of course it is, though in fairness I can't remember the last time they tried to pedal the galling 'community club' nonsense. I think it was something Gibson said in about 1998 wasn't it? Back when everyone was still eating from the palm of his hand.Stopped being a community club a long time ago.
It's a business, end of.
The thing is though, we are all annoyed right now but we will stew on it over the next couple of weeks and more people will renew than have actually pressed that button. Because we end up giving in to the club we love. Gibson knows that.Currently 35 votes.

That's 30% odd not renewing. If the club had a third of ST holders across the board not renewing they'd **** themselves. I'm shocked at the result i really thought we'd see 75-80% saying Yes.
A lot maybe be a gut reaction and change their mind over the next few weeks.Currently 35 votes.
