Latte Lath

Another comparison, Marcuss Forss is generally considered to be the best finisher at the club. Both he and ELL have had their season wrecked by injury. Championship figures
Forss 18 games (9 starts), 6 goals, 2 assists, 953 minutes (159 minutes/goal)
Latte Lath 19 games (12 starts), 6 goals, 0 assists, 1,155 minutes (193 minutes/goal)
He's not too far behind Forss which isn't bad going for a first season at a higher standard than he's used to.

As a further comparison
Coburn 21 games (11 starts), 5 goals, 1 assist, 993 minutes (199 minutes/goal). Coburn seemed to be putting together the hold-up side of his game with scoring goals when his injury slowed him down.

All of them, at this point look good enough as a back-up or second striker. Arguably, if Forss could stay fit for 40+ games he would be looking at 20 goals in a season. Both Latte Lath and Coburn look like they might get 15+ goals in a full season.

What does he bring to the table - he has a turn of pace but I’m not seeing much else. He was poor again yesterday, doesn’t seem able to hold the ball up or bring anyone else into play, poor first touch, and doesn’t look like a natural goal scorer to me. When he signed i looked at his playing record and thought that doesn’t look like a player we should be shelling circa £5m on.
Am i missing something with this lad because right now it’s looks like Atalanta must be laughing down their sleeves
👀

I think there is a real chance he could be a top championship striker.

I think the same about Coburn.

I think the same about Forss.

It's an interesting one going forwards - I think it is hard to justify a load of money on a new striker if all three of them are fit and ready to hit the ground running next year.

Central midfield is the biggest need for this squad I feel

Centre mid and a number 10 who can hold the ball
