Harry Kane

But we should be a better team next summer than last winter. Bellingham has gone up several levels and is now on a par with Mbappe - if not better! ;) Rice also looks a better player and is now getting Champions League experience. Saka and Foden are still young but improving. And it's hard to believe but I think Kane has also improved and will be brimming with confidence after scoring 50 goals this season (probably ;)).

For me England have a favourites chance, but we shouldn't overlook that we are still 4/1 so far from nailed on. If we play France in the semi or final, the game could go either way but we definitely have the tools to beat them. It's pretty much the same as if Man City come up against Real Madrid in the Champions League - it wouldn't be a shock whichever way the result went.
I am also of the opinion that Southgate won't get the best out of the squad against the other favourites, but we'll get through to meet them no problem.

England have a fantastic attacking group of players to choose from and some good defenders. There is a definite weakness/lack of depth at CB and CM though but no International team has no weaknesses.

It's always going to be difficult against the very best sides, but without checking I'd guess Southgates England have beaten more top 10 or so ranked teams in competitive games than any of his recent predecessors, probably more than most of them put together. I know that's the case with knockout games won.
So whether we'll win in the summer who knows, but the facts suggest we're in good hands, certainly better than in the horrendous 10 years before he was appointed.

His 18th goal in his 12th game tonight.

A fortunate tap-in this time, but the goals keep coming.

He needs 24 goals in the remaining 22 and a half games to set the new German record.

Just scored another hat-trick, his 30th league goal in 25 games.

He has 9 matches to beat Lewandowski's 41 goal record.

I think Kane will be judged on how well they do in the Champions League.
You can judge him on that if you want.
He won’t be the first class player not to do well in the champs league.

I’ll judge him as a fantastic goal scorer who has had the balls to do it in two different countries for two good (not great) teams

Class act regardless of champs league
